Can you Identify this pistol?
Im helping a youtube friend of mine figure out when his gun was made and who made it. It is a single shot cap and ball pistol. It appears to of either been made between 1850's and 1870's or modeled after that style. Its a .36 caliber and the barrel does appear to unscrew ( some had fixed barrels ), and the manufacturers marks are E I G A, i know EIG might be East India Government here is a link to the video it should start paying at the part where he picks it up.
EIG-Breggia Italy, is a firearms manufacturer that makes a lot of replica firearms, an also some modern. Couldn't find out a lot about them. That should give you a starting point as to where to look.
