What are the best western barrel saddle brands ?
what are some nice brands of western barrel saddles, and what do you think an appopriate price range is? (new and used please) also i'm not talking about a top notch barrel saddle, but just that style 
Good question, I asked one similar to this a few days ago actually. I'm about to get myself a new Alamo barrel saddle. I'm so excited!
The best names are Billy Cook, Circle Y, Tex Tan, Alamo...an appropriate range is between about $750 - $1,500, but they can get more expensive than that, even, depending on the style.
You can get great-quality used ones for a little cheaper, usually between a range of $450 - $800 depending on the brand and age/wear. www.horseclicks.com has alot of used name-brand saddles you can search by brand, size, and location. Also you can try eBay as well.
