Is it illegal to write FRAGILE on a shipping box from France under French postal law?
I bought a collectible from an eBay store in France but it unfortunately came to me in horrible condition due to incompetent packaging and absolutely no labeling on the box to alert the carriers of the fragile contents inside. When I e-mailed the seller, he of course claims that he packed it very professionally and it is illegal to label packages under French law. I am having a hard time confirming that story on Google so I am looking for help here. In anyway, he blames the US Postal Service for the mishandling of the package.
